Historic Moore House 
Reservations

Reservations can be made by email.  

Payment 

Payment may be made VISA, MasterCard, or Discover. Reservations must be PAID IN FULL at at       the time the reservation is made.

Security Deposit 

Security deposit is from $100.00. Security deposits are collected when making the                            reservation and are collected by Credit Card.  

Check in / out

       Check-in is after 2 pm.
Check out is 12 noon

Pets

Pets are not allowed on the property.

Moving or re-arranging furniture 

We have taken great care in restoring the Moore House and the antique furinshings. Do not                 move or re-arrange our furniture In order to prevent damage to the Moore House or the furnishings. 

Antique Furnishings

        In most cases the finish on the antiques is not water resistent and setting glasses or cans on            them will leave water rings that cannot be removed. USE THE PROVIDED COASTERS 

Trash

Trash bags are provided under the kitchen sink. trash pick up is Tuesday mornings about 9 am.              Please make sure that all trash is securely deposited in the outdoor trash cans.

Heaters and Airconditioners

        Do not remove heaters or airconditioners from the walls are windows.
        In the summer months, Turn off all airconditioners upon check out. 
        In the winter months, leave the thermostat set on low on the heaters.

Dishes and Cooking Utensils

Dish soap is provided under the  kitchen sink.  
       Ensure that all cooking utensils are cleaned.
       Unplug the toaster and coffee maker.

Porches

Do not hang items on the front porch to dry.

Parking

Park only in the parking lot.  

Smoking and Alcoholic Beverages

Smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

Additional charges may be applied to your credit card in the event of:

Any abuse, damage or theft. 
Any indication that a guest has been smoking indoors. 
Any indication that a pet was on the property.
Any need for housekeeping beyond what would be considered "normal". 
Any indication that the furniture has been moved.
Presence of water rings on the antique furniture.

Cancellation 

        Cancellations made 30 or more days before confirmed reservation date will receive full 
refund/credit less $50.00 service charge for processing.

Cancellations made less than 30 days before confirmed reservation date will 
be charged as follows:

20 - 29 days in advance:  1/2 of one night's rental 
10 - 19 days in advance:  One night's rental 
1 -  9 days in advance:   Two night's rental 

Two nights rental is not refundable for reservations made during:

Amish School consignment Aucation (second Saturday of September)
Easter weekend
Memorial day
Labor day
Clarita Home Coming Reunion
Olney Home Coming Reunion
Thanksgiving
Christmas
New Year's Eve

CHECK OUT

Insure that:
All doors and windows are locked.
Airconditioners or heaters are turned off.
All trash is bagged, and placed in the trash cans outside.
