Clarita Carriage is located about a half mile north of Clarita and is owned and operated by Floyd Borntreger.  Floyd and wife Liz settled in Clarita in 2003 and established  Clarita Carriage.  Quite by coincidence this is the third Clarita Carriage in the community.  The first was owned by Gene Schmelzer and was located in the original town site of Kitty which is the location of Floyd and Liz's home.  The second was owned and operated by Vernon and Esta Miller from 1982 - 1989 and was located in the Okanee area near the location of the annual Amish School Consignment auction.

Floyd can build just about anything horsedrawn to include Amish style buggies, doctor's buggies, utility wagons, carts, and surries.  He also specializes in restoration of buggies, wagons, hacks, and horse drawn farm equipment.

You can contact Floyd Borntreger at 580-428-9200 or send mail to: RR 5, Box 605, Coalgate, OK 74538.
